Lots of stuff to cover
I've been getting heat lately from folks who claim that I don't check my sources. Well, seeing how this is a BIG newsday (make sure you read all of it), I am proud to announce that all these news items have been checked, double checked, AND triple checked. In WWF News, expect a flood of established faces to return to Titanland, including Sid, Yokozuna, Flair, and Hogan. You heard me. Flair's lawsuit is far from settled, for now he's just working with WCW in a "agree to disagree" basis for now. Then he had an argument with Bischoff about the booking of his return segment on Nitro. Call me crazy, but should the lawsuit go his way...Flair will be showing up on RAW. As for Hogan? All three of my sources told me to look for the return of the Hulkster next Monday night. Apparently, his WCW contract is VERY loose and he can appear anywhere he wants. As for Sid and Yoko? They'll be back within a month to reform the Hart Foundation with Owen. This time, I PROMISE. Don't feel bad for WCW however, they just signed Tony Norris, AKA "Ahmed Johnson" to a 5 year deal. They hope to deflect some of the heat they are getting from Bobby Walker's lawsuit by pairing Norris up with Dusty Rhodes in a managerial role. Can't wait to hear these two guys speak at the same time. Poor Eric Bischoff, even though he has taken WCW from bankruptcy and turned it into multi million dollar company, he still gets no respect as an actual athlete. Well, seeing how Eric has scheduled himself to win the 60 man World War 3 main event in November, coupled with his match with Flair at Starrcade, all that looks to change. At this rate, expect Eric to hand Goldberg his first loss by January, and righfully so, he is a very talented athlete. I just hope his wrestlers will be able to be eliminated by him and still keep a straight face. Oh yes, the Sandman will be on RAW next week too. And Kronus really was fired by ECW....I don't care who says different. He is currently wrestling for free and Heyman just doesn't known how to approach this and tell him it's over. This was surprising. I was chatting it up with Goldberg over the phone the other day. Guess what? He isn't even Jewish! Turns out he is an Irish Catholic! His real name is Rory O'Gould. When I asked him why, he simply said, "I just wanted to be different." Then he called me a "silly jackass". I asked him to repeat that statement three more times for verification. In two related notes, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is reportingly begging Eric to let him out of his contract while Scotty "Raven" Levy has signed a brand new 10 year extension with the company. "I have a good feeling I'm gonna make a lot more friends" Levy stated to me. I had him state it three times just to triple check. Internet stuff SCOOPS is proud to announce that we are combining with Wrestlemaniacs to form Scoopsmaniacs! I have been in deep talks with Mike Samuda for some time about this, and we have decided that even though both sites are thriving very nicely, having the two combine would make a better "one stop browsing" center for those readers who hate to keep clicking from site to site. Plus, Mike and I made a $20 dollar bet to see how many e-mails Scaia would send to him begging him to drop this idea. Mike thinks he'll get an even dozen, I'm hoping Scaia will totally freak out and send at least 20. Don't let me down Rick! That's all I have for today. Other than to say that I KNOW that Hyatte sucks, so stop writing in and telling me that. Much like Heyman and Kronus, I've tried to get rid of him, but it's clear that he's got nothing else going for him, and he's a little slow too. So I keep him around. It helps me sleep at night.
